Terms

This site describes Difae Research and the work it does. Nothing is sold here and no account is created, so these terms are short. They cover what the pages are, what an enquiry does and does not create, and the rules we expect both sides to observe about controlled material.

What this site is

A description of the firm and the problems it works on. It is informational. It is not an offer, not a quotation, and not a commitment to take on any piece of work. Descriptions of capability describe what we do, not a guarantee of a result in your setting.

Where the pages give figures, they are quoted with the conditions they were measured under. Read the conditions. A figure measured under stated conditions is a claim about those conditions and nothing else, and we would rather publish a narrow true number than a broad impressive one.

Getting in touch does not start anything

Writing to us, and our replying, does not create a contract, an engagement, a partnership, or any duty of confidence. Treat anything you send as unprotected until a confidentiality agreement is signed by both sides. If a conversation needs protecting, ask for that agreement first and we will put one in place.

Do not send us anything you are not free to send. Unsolicited material arriving here is not accepted in confidence, and we may decline to read it and delete it.

Controlled material and responsible use

Please do not send classified, controlled, or otherwise sensitive material by email.

This is a term, not a courtesy. Email to this address is ordinary commercial mail on commercial infrastructure and is not an approved channel for classified or export-controlled information. Sending such material here may breach the law that applies to you, and doing so is your responsibility, not ours.

The position set out on the home page under Responsible use is binding on us and is not marketing copy. We assess export-control and end-use questions before an engagement rather than after it, and we decline work that does not survive that assessment.

Everything on these pages belongs to us

The text, the drawings, the typography, the code behind the pages and the name are the property of Difae Research. Read them, quote them with attribution, and link to them freely. Do not republish them as your own or use the name or mark in a way that suggests an association that does not exist.

Where this site links elsewhere, including to our own commercial product, that site is governed by its own terms and its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for what is on it.

Availability and liability

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be reachable or always be current. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from relying on what is published here, and nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, whose courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. We would always rather settle one directly first. Questions go to hello@difaeresearch.com.
